She recieved her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at the California State University of San Bernardino and her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of California of Los Angeles. Prior to joining Desert Kidney Care in 2015, Kelly worked as a Family Nurse Practioner in Family Medicine, where she gained experience in health promotion, disease prevention, health maintenance, counseling, patient education, diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses. At Desert Kidney Care, Kelly cares for chronic kidney disease patients. Patient visits are focused on education about chronic kidney disease, blood pressure and anemia management, bone mineral metabolism abnormalities, healthy lifestyle choices, dietary education and lab review. She also works closely with end stage renal disease patients at multiple dialysis centers. |
